"우리팀 선수들은 생각보다 뛰어난 경기력을 보여줬고 찬스도 많이 나왔다. 하지만 그 찬스들을 다 잡지 못하였던 점이 아쉽다." 울산의 감독이자 이번 경기에서 공격수로 데뷔전을 치른 Orsic의 대답이다.

의도치 않게 비겼다. 이건 분명히 울산의 계획에 없었을 것이다. 물론 그들은 한번도 경기를 같이 뛰어보지 않았다. 하지만, 리그가 시작되기 전부터 사람들은 울산과 SPX의 선수들에 많은 관심을 가졌다.

"앞으로 있을 아시안 컵에서 한국의 활약이 두렵다." 한 선수가 뛰어난 한국의 새로운 선수들을 보고 한 말이다.

실제로 울산과 SPX는 많은 관심을 끌었고, SPX는 결과로 증명했다. 그들은 전반까지 비등하던 경기를 후반전에 완전히 상대를 압도하며 완승을 거뒀다. 감탄만이 나오는 경기였다. 그런 점에선 울산도 마찬가지였다. 뛰어난 팀 플레이로 그들은 거센 공세를 퍼부었고, 결과적으로 상대는 수비적인 경기를 펼쳤다.

하지만 한가지 다른 점이 있다면, 울산의 득점은 현저히 적었다. 그들은 운이 없었고, 경기에선 운 또한 그들의 실력이다.

Orsic는 "상대 수비진들이 공격보단 수비에 중점을 두는 플레이를 해서 많이 애를 먹었다 아쉽다. 몇번이고 공격의 흐름이 끊킨 것도 아쉬웠다." 라며 이기지 못한 것을 크게 아쉬워했다.

그런 와중에 그는 'Orsic Error'를 이겨내고 이번 경기 후반전에 출전하여 좋은 모습을 보였다. Abenz 대신 교체 출전하여 5분 동안 필드를 누볐으며, 좋은 찬스를 몇번이고 만들어냈다. 때로는 골로 연결되기도 하였다.

하지만 그는 "조금 더 지켜봐야 할 문제."라며 아직까지 그것에 대하여 조심하고 있는 것으로 보인다.

또한 그는 오늘 경기의 Man Of the Match에 선정된 aodh가 '받을 만한 선수'였다며 그를 인정하는 모습을 보였다. "오늘 우리팀이 보여준 좋은 모습에는 항상 그가 있었다. 물론 다른 선수들도 다 좋은 모습을 보였으니, 섭섭하지 말았으면 한다."라고 Orsic가 덧붙였다.

MOM에 선정된 aodh는 "우리팀 모두 각자 위치에서 맡은바를 잘 해주었고, 누가 mom을 받아도 이상하지 않을 경기력을 보여준 것 같다. 덕분에 내가 mom에 선정되었고 감사하게 생각한다."

울산은 이번 경기에서 1-1로 비겼고, 15일 저녁에 ASC와 경기가 예정되어 있다.
